My name is Vani. I am studying in Clementi Town Secondary School. I am taking my GCE O Level Examinations this year. My subject combination consists of English,Maths,Biology and Chemistry,History and Social Studies, Tamil and Principles of Accounting.
Since the age of 10, I have been interested in cyber security and digital forensics. To this end, I have watched many documentaries and youtube videos which have honed my understanding on these topics.

Malware Analysis
Becoming a Malware Analyst requires a large amount of focus and discipline as well as training and practice of the inner workings of computer systems, programming methodologies in multiple languages and a keen mind for solving puzzles and connecting the dots.
Computer Languages
I have coded in various languages like python, java and turtle. Personally, I enjoy coding using python as Python programming language is a scripting language that can be used for prototype development, coding websites and applications, processing images, scientific data and more.
Tech Camps / Workshops
I have attended the Microsoft DigiGirlz Workshop and Coding Camp. At the DigiGirlz workshop I learned the basics of coding using the blocks on code.org. Then at the Saturday Kids Coding Camp, I developed apps that are used in our daily lives like calculator,to do list and many more. All these could not have been possible without MIT app inventor!
Courses attended
I have attended many courses during my free time to develop my coding skills. For example, I have done the Introduction to IT & Cybersecurity as well as Identifying Web Attacks Through Logs courses which have vastly improved my critical thinking skills.
